Former UFC straw weight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk was once considered the greatest female fighter in UFC history and even labeled by Joe Rogan as the greatest striker in all of MMA. Now that she got destroyed by new champ Rose Namajunas two times in a row, she’s forced to re think her position in the division. After tapping to strikes in the first match, Joanna went on a media world tour where she made it clear that she didn’t tap and the loss was a fluke as a result of a bad weight cut.
Now she’s on another media tour claiming that she won the fight and now she’s even claiming that UFC president Dana White was “disgusted by the decision” and had her winning. Even though after the fight on UFC Tonight and during the post fight press conference Dana claimed he had the bout scored even going into the fifth round and he scored the fight for rose. Check it out.
VIDEO INTERVIEW AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE:
““Even Rose’s coach said after the verdict that I won that fight, the corner told me: Ok, this fight was very close, but we didn’t win it.”
Rose Namajunas Coach Response to this comment:
She won’t even let us shake her hand! How she gunna say we said she won? 1st fight she says Pat says bad things about her, now this? The only thing I have to say to her his RESPECT!

“Numbers don’t lie. Commission in New York is very young. They are still learing how to score fights, Dana White was also a little bit disgusted by the scoring.”
“I don’t want to take away anything from Rose. She defended her belt and she’s the champion. I’m proud of myself, and in my opinion, I won this fight. (…) I’m now a different person, a different fighter. I can be happy without this belt. I have ambitious plans: I know, that i will get the title again, this year or maybe next year, and thats all.”
“Even Rose’s corner told me: Ok, this fight was very close, but we didn’t win this. I’m still in a game and I will come back for this belt. I still feel the fire in me. And you have to admit, that there is a big ditch between TOP 4 and the rest of the strawweight division.”
“As a strawweight I lose strength and dynamic. I really think about 125 Ibs. I’m having a meeting with Dana White and we’ll see, what’s next for me. It might be flyweight or strawweight, but if 115 Ibs., than it’s gonna’ be only for the highest goals. In strawweight I need to painfully strain my body with weight cutting, so I can do it only for a big reason.”
